Snowboarding

As a youngster growing up in the North Island of NZ my parents would take us to the mountains in the school holidays, riding down the mountain on plastic bags, taking on Happy Valley, Whakapapa with little ski’s. When I was 21 years old I escaped to Switzerland and began working in a Chalet in the Alps. This escalated into a deep love for the beautiful mountains and the exhileration of sliding down the slopes.

The freedom and present moment awareness of Snowboarding has developed into a lifelong passion! I spent over ten years chasing the snow, from Switzerland, to New Zealand, America and extensive travel all over Europe. I have had numerous roles in the Snow Industry from Chalet Manager, Instructor, Coach, Competitor, Sponsored Athlete, Event Organizer and the list goes on!

Now I coach and guide for Mint Tours, we run tours in New Zealand , Japan and various countries. I am forever grateful for the friendships I have through my snow career and the continued new friends made through my work with Mint Tours.
